Before-you-post checklist

Answer four quick questions about your photo. You get a short list of what to check first. Nothing is uploaded or stored: your answers stay on this page.

1. Was the photo taken at home, school or work?

Photos from a phone can include GPS coordinates.

2. Can you see faces, including children?

Think of people in the background too.

3. Is a screen, document or number plate visible?

For example a letter, a laptop screen or a car plate.

4. Would the date and time show a routine?

For example when you leave home or when a place is empty.
